Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-05-18
This privacy policy describes how AprScope (“we”, “us”, “the site”) handles information about visitors. The site is operated by Vladimir Kayzumov as an individual; there is no parent company.
What we collect
We collect the minimum information necessary to operate the site and understand how it’s used:
- Server access logs. Standard web server logs, including IP address, user agent, timestamps, requested URL, and HTTP referrer. These are retained for 30 days for security and operational purposes (rate-limiting abuse, debugging delivery issues), then deleted.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 and Yandex.Metrika to understand aggregate usage of the site (page views, traffic sources, geographic region, device type, navigation patterns). Both services set cookies in your browser and process your IP address. We do not combine this analytics data with any other personal information, and we do not use it for advertising targeting on this site. See the third-party section below for the cookies set by each.
- Error reports. When the site experiences a technical error, a sanitized report may be sent to a third-party error-tracking service (Sentry) for diagnosis. Error reports include the URL, browser version, and a stack trace; they do not include form input, cookies, or personal information.
We do not collect:
- Email addresses, names, or contact information from visitors.
- Wallet addresses or any on-chain activity associated with you.
- Financial or transactional data.
The site does not require an account. You do not need to register, log in, or provide any personal information to use it.
Cookies
The site itself does not set first-party cookies. The following third-party cookies may be set when you load any page:
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics 4 | Distinguish unique visitors and sessions | 2 years (configurable in GA4) |
_ymuid, _ym_uid, _ym_d, _ym_isad | Yandex.Metrika | Distinguish unique visitors, session timing, ad-block detection | 1 year |
If we add advertising in a future phase, additional cookies may be set by the ad network. This page will be updated and an explicit consent banner will be added at that point.
Third-party services
The site relies on the following third-party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy.
| Service | Purpose | Provider | Privacy policy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | DNS, content delivery network, DDoS protection, TLS termination | Cloudflare, Inc. | cloudflare.com/privacypolicy |
| Google Analytics 4 | Aggregate site analytics | Google LLC | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Yandex.Metrika | Aggregate site analytics | Yandex LLC | yandex.com/legal/confidential |
| DefiLlama | Source of all DeFi data displayed on the site | DefiLlama / Llama Corp | defillama.com/privacy |
The site is hosted on infrastructure operated by the site owner (not a third-party hosting provider). When you load a page, your IP address is necessarily visible to Cloudflare (because they deliver the page). Overview blocks are composed from structured data on our server in advance; no request is made to any external service at page-view time.
Future services
When we begin running advertising, an ad network (likely Google AdSense, Mediavine, or Ezoic) will be added to this list. Ad networks typically set cookies for personalization and frequency capping. This privacy policy will be updated, and an explicit consent banner will be added in jurisdictions that require one (EU, UK, California).
If we add affiliate links, the affiliate networks (e.g., for hardware wallets, tax software) may track which links you click. The destination service will receive a referrer indicating you came from us, which is standard internet behavior.
Your rights
If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, California, or another jurisdiction with applicable privacy laws, you have certain rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to know what data we hold about you. Apart from the server access logs (kept 30 days) and the analytics data sent to Google/Yandex (described above), we do not store user-identifying data on our own infrastructure.
- Right to deletion of your data. To request deletion from Google Analytics or Yandex.Metrika directly, use the controls in each provider’s privacy settings (see the privacy-policy links above). For our 30-day server logs, contact us and we will purge any record we can identify by IP within the retention window.
- Right to opt out of analytics tracking. Browser-level opt-out options include the Google Analytics opt-out add-on and the Yandex.Metrika browser opt-out. Browser-level “Do Not Track” / “Global Privacy Control” signals are also respected where the analytics provider supports them. A site-side consent banner is on the roadmap.
To exercise any of these rights, or to ask questions about how your data is handled, please contact us via the contact page.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy as the site evolves (for example, when we add advertising or affiliate links, or change analytics providers). The lastUpdated field at the top of the page reflects the most recent material change. Substantial changes will be highlighted in a banner on the homepage for at least 30 days.
